CoolStart taps enable you to save hot water energy at the wash basin every single day as your tap always starts by running cold water when in the basic (middle) position. With standard taps, on the other hand, mixed water is instantly used.

Around 99% of the CO2e emissions from your bathroom are generated when using your shower and tap – to provide hot water for showering or filling the bath tub or wash basin. For example, the actual process of showering emits around 1,000 times more CO2e than is produced when manufacturing the shower.
